Okay, so not really, but I've always wanted to say that ;)

A little about me? Okay, here goes. 

I believe you have to appreciate every single day that you get.

I believe that you have to appreciate what you have, and learn to live without what you don't have.  

Simple as that. Life can be damn good when you can accept that.  (Steppin' down from my "philosophy on life" soapbox now . . . ;)

I'm a decorator by day (yaaawwwwnnnnn), but my alter ego is a hip-swinging, fringe-flingin' tribal dancer by night. Don't get me wrong, I love my day job but in my next life I'm going to be born somewhere down in the United States where Tribal Style is alive and growing strong.

(Hmmm, or maybe I'll come back as house cat. Food twice a day, sometimes more, sleep 23 hours a day . . . not a bad life as I see it . . . ) 

But . . . I digress . . .

I'm passionate about Tribal bellydance. I belong to a troupe called Prairie Caravan (www.prairiecaravan.com) and they are an amazing group of gals. There are many times, especially in the dead of winter when it is -30 degrees outside, knowing that we'll have to circle around for 15 minutes trying to find a parking spot close enough to the studio so we don't lose a limb to frost bite just to make it to troupe practice. But we all manage to do it week after week and I thank God for them that we all manage to get there :)

(By the way, if any of my troupe mates are reading this, I've never said it before, but thanks . . . just thanks, for being my buddies and for all the times we've bitched, laughed, and even cried together. You all mean a lot to me)

But again, I digress . . . ;) (I go off on these little tangents every once in awhile)
